IAN MACRAE

Ian has twenty years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, primarily in the finite element analysis of pipeline systems. Ian has a particular interest in lateral buckling, local buckling and pipeline walking. Ian has worked on some of the most challenging projects in the North Sea, West Africa, South East Asia and Western Australia. Ian also has recent experience in design verification, conceptual engineering and technical consultancy, with project experience covering the full project cycle from conceptual design to operational support.
