DUNCAN PEACE

Non-Executive Chair

Duncan has spent most of his 40+ years in industry working on the development of offshore oil and gas. Throughout that time his focus has been on the design, construction, installation, and operation of floating production units.

A naval architect with a Master’s degree in offshore engineering, and a Master’s degree in business administration, he initially gained project experience with major contracting organisations such as Brown and Root and John Brown, before joining FPSO contractor Navion in Norway during the late 90’s as Commercial VP.

Following the sale of Navion’s FPSO business in 2001, Duncan returned to the UK to found Crondall Energy and has led the growth of the Company from start-up to its current position as a market leading independent energy consultancy.

Duncan continues to combine his role as Chairman with support to the company’s various technology initiatives for the ocean energy sector. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects and Chairman of Lloyds Register Offshore Technical Committee
