Graduate Engineer: Subsea and Pipelines

Job Role:

Crondall are currently recruiting graduates / post-graduates for our engineering team based in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting and innovative projects, and will be supported in their development as they progress in their career.


Within our team we have expertise in the following business areas:

  • Energy Transition & Abatement

  • Offshore Renewables

  • Floating Production

  • Subsea & Pipelines

  • Business Consulting & Technology Development


We are looking for graduates to work full-time in the following disciplines:

  • Pipeline engineering / pipeline structural design

  • Subsea engineering 

  • Field development engineering


Responsibilities

  • Understand and be a part of the energy transition, in particular carbon capture & storage, emissions reduction and electrification

  • Participating in the technical design and engineering of offshore facilities, including platforms, wells, and pipelines

  • Collaborating with other engineering disciplines to ensure that field development projects are integrated with the overall project design

  • Working closely with project managers and other team members to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget

  • Learn and utilise technical software such as Abaqus, HYSYS, Pipesim, Multiflash, Qgis 

  • Provide insights and engineering for a wide range of stakeholders including operators, contractors, governments, investment banks and industry bodies


Education:

Applicants should have the following level of qualifications:


  • 2:1 or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil/Structural), Aeronautical Engineering.

Experience:

No industry experience is required for the graduate role.

  • Technical Report Writing: Preparing clear and concise technical reports and project documentation for clients and internal use.
